Oil Pump Issues
Hi all,
I have a 97 Explorer LMT, V8 with 175k on it.It has ran great for the many years we have owned it and we now use it as a spare car. I went to start it the other morning and the oil pressure was flickering but then jumped back to normal. Then as I pulled out of the driveway it droped to 0 pressure agian and began to throw a slight knock. If you leave it ideling it will stay fine but as soon as you begin to bring up the rpms it drops to nothing. Do you think the pump is the issue? Any info would be great!
