2) Super solvent, will clean all the gunk and residue out of your tank and fuel lines.
If you percieve a response difference, more than likely it's because of a change in engine noise. Bio will quiet the clatter in your truck down, in some cases by a lot depending on the quality of diesel you were buying before. The actual BTU's of bio is slightly less than dino diesel, but you really can't feel any difference in power and actual mileage probably won't vary if any at all. If you compare one tank of dino vs. one tank of bio, you'll get skewed responses over which is better for mileage and power. Over the long term the effects of both are about the same. I prefer bio because of the above advantages.
I live in Greenville, SC and there is a company here called Spinx (a guy's last name..) and the soy beans are grown in SC, the biodiesel (B20) is made locally and distributed in SC...all the $$ stays here and the pice is the same...about $2.83. Dino Diesel at the Wal-Mart is 2.72 right now....but you get better MPG with the dino stuff.
Right now they are running a contest with a 2006 3500 Dodge mega cab diesel...how many soybeans does it take to fill the tank of b-20 biodiesel??? It is between 30,000 and 50,000 soybeans....
