Truck will not start

Ford 300 inline 6. I have replace the ignition module and pickup coil inside the distributor. Also, replaced the relay, coil and solanoid. Truck will turn over but will not get any fire. After I replace the ign mod truck started and ran fine. Next day same problem. I then replaced the pickup coil. Same thing, started couple of times and ran fine, then nothing. Is there anything else in the distrib that could be bad? Should I just replace the distrib? When the truck starts and runs for a few min, the check engine light comes on and all the power is zapped. after that, it will not start. Anybody got any suggestions?

Sledge. Ya might get better results if you state the year of your rig. They are not all the same.

Sorry, 300I6VAN85. Truck is 1989 5 speed EFI. Ford 150/428/dud, I replaced the pickup coil already. Could the fuel pump relay cause the intermittent problem? Where is the fuel pump relay located. If it is one of the two 1.5 " square plastic relays on the drivers side firewall, I have replaced them.
