Exclamation under powered???

Can a 300 I6 w/4:11 handle a 7500 lbs trailer at highway speed? Can it pull the rockies? If so will it bolt to a c6? A have a 79' f-250. It has a 400 in it. the 400 is giving up the ghost. A few years back I bought a 460 block & heads, My last buy was to be a stroker crank, to build a replacement. Gas prices are killing me. So now I am praying to the ford 6 cyl god's for an answer.

It will more than likely pull that trailer with no problems pretty much no matter what ya throw at it. Just make sure your brakes are up to snuff and i wouldn't worry about much, ya aren't gonna kill a healthy six pulling some mountains. As a side note, it will not bolt to the c6 from the 400, youll have to go find one from a 302/351w to bolt it to.

My half dead one in my half ton has been pulling me around up here in the Tn mountains, no sweat.
