it ojn the machined surface of the block near the oil filter. the oil filter housing bolts to the block then just toward the back of the truck is stamped on that machined surface. you will need scrap or sand the rust and junk off to see the numbers. also i ahve seen them on the drivers side valve cover on a sticker on a few trucks
