inside door handle and inside window handles
I hope somebody out there can answer my questions. My inside door handle and window handle will not stay on anymore. The part that I require is the part that goes into the handle. The store I went to gave me just the metal end that would go into the handle. But the whole window regulator is a sealed unit and so is the door regulator. Do you have to buy the whole unit or is there away to get in there and just change this part and if so how.I am sure somebody out there has had to deal with this problem, these parts will strip at some point. Please help!!

Junk Yard parts. Real PITA! Next time I will go with power windows for about 250 bucks or so. Some here have opened the gear mechanisim and switched around parts. Or for real big bucks these units are available from after market. I have seen vice grips work as well

Thanks guys for your help. I have decided to let some mechanic take it apart and see if he can piece them back together. What a pain.
