I have a 04 6.0 pd, I have run (the old) predator from diablo sport from since it was new. I always run on 65hp with no problems ather than bad shifting, now I'm having turbo problems and the shifting is getting worse. I pulled it out and I'm going to pitch it. I love the power it gives me while towing. I need a affordable chip or module to help me get the power I need for towing. Has anyone tried the quad xzt and how does it stack up to the predator??? I have already had a sct from 2 places and they are out of the question. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I have it back to stock now, and my dealer ran some tests and say that the tranny is fine but there were 2 turbo codes low boost and something else. They told me to run it for now and they will check it next oil change. They can't get the turbo to act up when they have it ( chipless ). I had 1 sct tuner and the 1st places I bought it from couldn't get the bugs worked out so they were going to refund my money. So I sent it to 2nd place to see what they could do. The salesman told me they could make it right money back guarentee. Well, they couldn,t get it right either and guess what. I still havn't seen my money yet, and they refuse to call me back or refund my money. Poor business
What other MODs do you have to your truck other than reprogramming the chip? Are you running an after market exaust? I have a 04 F-350 and was going to modify it as well but I am still undecided on what tunner to buy. I want to get the best buy for the money.
