94 computer in a 95

94 computer in a 95
Since I can not find a good E4Od for my 95 a local junkyard has a 94 F250 with a C-6 that I am thinking on getting and will probably have to change the computer,I know there were some changes on the trans side of the computer in 95 but if I get the 94 computer just to run the motor would it work of just find a 95 C-6 computer.

Not sure of what you are asking for sure.
I think you are going to replace the E4OD transmission in your 1995 F-serise truck with a C6 transmission.
The 1995 computer you have now will work the engine but you will have the check engine light on.
The 1994 computer from a truck with a C6 if the truck had the same engine as the 95 should work OK.

Thanks that is exactly what I needed to know,its looking like I am going to grab the C-6 from the 94 in the junkyard and install it in my 95 and eventually find a differential with taller gears. Its just going to be a beater truck with some highway use but not much,the C-6 could be a temporary trans too but need to get the truck drivable for now and would give me time to find a good used E4OD.
