California Emissions Requirement
How does the California emissions requirement/addition to a new F-250 impact , particularly negatively, other that the obvious purpose of cleaner emissions...IE: on it's performance next to one without it ?

It's quieter, it may drain a few horses (though with modern cats not so much), and that's about it. New cats are remarkably effienct at flow, but they do somewhat limit the sound that exits the vehicle.

Thank you for your answer. It's about what I imagined. I must have been tired when I wrote...said " 250 Diesel " ...which is what I normally order, but this time I'm dropping back to a F-150 Gas , buying out of state where Cal. Em. is requried. I assume your answer is the same ?
