injector problem
All.. has anyone heard of a fuel injector leakage problem with the 7.3's? The dealer where i bought my truck said he would fix the one injector that was leaking in my truck before delivery. He also said he would flush the cooling system because oil could get in the antifreeze. Sound familiar to anyone?? Jeff

sounds to me like the injector o-ring problems. there are o-rings that seperate oil, fuel, and coolant in the different passages in the cylinder head. when one leaks, you can get oil in fuel, coolant in fuel, fuel in the coolant, and oil in the coolant. the injector itself probably isn't bad unless it has injested some coolant.

the only way oil could get into the coolant is if the injector cup is cracked or somehow broke. but i would still let them be free to do whatever they want to do it as long as it has a warranty
