Spindle Size Problem
I have a 1984 F250 diesel 4x4. I am doing a front end brake job, but I am having problem locating a spindle 6-prong nut wrench big enough to remove hub. The inner diameter measures 3.25 inches. All the Ford spindle sockets I have seen are alot smaller. I think that the front end is not the standard Dana 44, but an off road or custom HD front axle.
I have gone to over 8 different auto parts and truck stores and can not find a wrench big enough.
Does anybody know of a parts supplier that sells a spindle nut wrench this size or any suggestions.
