Hey all. Just figured I would drop a line and say my trucks new engine is here and I updated my gallery with what I have so far. No it's not pretty! I just started so give me a little slack. But in the morning I will be removing the engine from the Lincoln and put it on the stand for a tear down followed by a trip to the machine shop. Can you say sleepless? I can I dream about roasting the tires on my ford all the time now. But anyway, I have to get cleaned up and go to dinner. Let me know what you think of the new pics.

Good to go! You got a running start by buying the Lincoln. Half the hassel is find all the bits and pieces for these swaps. Keep us posted as you go along!

Well since my last post I have removed the engine and trans and I now have a block with just the rotating assembly in it. I have to call a few machine shops to see what they are going to charge to have the block machined and balance the rotating assembly balanced. I am going to attempt to do the blue printing myself. It doesn't look that hard to do. Besides all I am doing is removing the casting flash and seam lines. The hardest part is finding the engine mount that will hold the engine without twisting from the amount of HP/TQ I will have. I am thinking that the universal setup will work but not for later additions to the engine like a 6-71 BDS blower. But anyway I am off again.
