Glove box keeps Opening!!!

In my 65' Custom Cab, my glove box door keeps falling open, I can't get it to stay shut anymore. I've got it so that it don't fall down anymore, but now it won't close all the way. Has anyone else had a problem with this. I don't know what else to do, I tried bending the tabs and everything.

Hello There is a coiled spring that hooks on to the passenger side glove box door arm. Its behind the glove box It probably came off or is broken. Eric

If your springs are missing, stop by your local hobby lobby and purchase a 36" lenght of 3/32" piano wire. Stuff a 1/4" drill bit into your vise. Cut the wire to 9" or so and wrap about 3 loops around the bit. Leave the ends long and at about a 100 degree bend from the coils. Then trim and fit the new spring to your glovebox.
