New Running Boards installed

I finally got my running boards installed. It took a little engineering but it came out well. I've had them almost a year and haven't had the time to sit down and work on them. They're made by a company called AMP Research. See what ya think...

Cool. Do they tuck up underneath or slide in and out?

cookie88 they tuck up underneath and kind of swing out. Hope the pic helps explain it. Here is a link, when on the page click on the #3 and then below the graphic below click on "watch and learn"

I really like them and they work great.

What happens when you are parked off road and there isn't clearance for the step to swing?? Does it jam and burn out or does it have a reversing switch to put it away?

zep ... not sure on that one .. lol.

I believe the motors work on current draw. When they deploy and lock I hear the relays or something in the control box click off. So I guess if it hit something imobile it would just stop there.

yea ... I needed something for the wife and kids to use. But, I didn't want bars or steps hanging down all the time. I just don't want that kinda look.
