Superchips or Diablo?

Our group has 3 Diablo's 00-7.3/03-6lt/04-6lt. No problems, just some cold weather starting issue with the 00-7.3 at one time. It had the most kilo's 300K
We have no experience with other tuners though. Oh 2 of the tuners bought through Motorhaven...good service

don't get either one. You can get a DP tuner for the same price. My buddy just got one --> stock, 40 hp tow, 80 hp econcomy, and 120 hp racing tunes, best thing is that you can change tunes on the fly. The 120 hp is bad a$$, roasts the tires and puts out a thick cloud of smoke. All the guys here seem to recommend this chip. I'm getting one myself after seeing what it can do in comparision to my superchip tuner. The website is www.dp-tuner.com

I had a SCMT and now run a DP 40hp Tow tune. No comparison. SCMT made the throttle pedal tooooooo touchy, trany shifted weird, and the engine sounded pingy. My DP pcm does none of the above. Just makes the engine sound like it should and provides a moderate amount of power increase.

Thrid vote for DP. I have been researching for a while and have decided to use DP when I get to that step. His tunes just seam to work better for the strokers

Another vote for a DP Tuner chip. I had a Predator tuner, then switched to the chip. Very nice to just flip through the tunes. The Predator does have good diagnostic abilities and data recording/streaming though. I kept my predator for that reason.

Don't do what a lot of us did by getting the tuner. Just go with a DP-Tuner chip. I was never happy with the way the Predator made my truck shift, I sold it and got a 4-position DP-Tuner chip and it's way better in power and shifting vs. the Predator.

I got mine just after buying my 2002 F-350 last year.
I am very happy with the performance tunes(40-tow-60-85-100) and the ease of installing the different tunes and the DTC's as well. I usually keep the 100 HP tune in the truck, make sure you have gaues to keep an eye on your engine's EGT's and boost> I have gauges to keep me safe!
I am looking at upgrading and will be selling my Diablo if you are interested

I am happy with my TS, but of late I have entertained the idea of talking to Jody. I'm interested in a comparison. He's about 6 hours drive away so I don't know. As for now I'm good. There have been some DP chip glitches here but Jody has always taken care of them from what I can see. Can't go wrong there.
