I have a '06 F250 with the standard auto dimming rearview mirror. I miss having the HomeLink buttons on my mirror to open the garage doors. Has anyone ever switched out the mirrors in an '06.

I thought maybe I could find one at a salvage yard and replace mine with one from an Excursion or Expidition.

I miss the outside temp that I had with my old F150 SuperCrew. With my new Super Duty I just have the plain rearview mirror but Ford does sell the Electrochromic Mirror with Compass and Temp w/Homelink, Dealer installation recommended. I did see a PDF file from FORD on self install some where.
