I hit a large rock with my right front wheel last time out wheeling. Now my Bronco pulls to the right!
Does anybody know how to fix. I dont want to take to a shop if Idont have to!
I checked the toe. Ok! Now what?
It's real hot here in SoCal and I want to get away tommrro!
I can still drive it but, if you let go of the wheel it goes to to the right!
did you inspect for chassis damage? i'd pay close attention to the right side radius arm bushing...you may have crushed it, or ruined the bushing perch (they tend to rust out over time)...otherwise if everything looks, and checks out ok, you will need an alignment...my guess is that the right side is toed out...
Radius arm was the frist thing I checked, because I have bent them before.
I checked the toe. OK.
One thing, I have Dana 44 TTB, and the right axel shaft is rubbing on the axel houseing. Do you think I have to replace that half of the axel?
Nope, you have lost or damaged the axle pivot bushing for that half of the TTB. Thats the most likely reason for the rub and, at the very least, a contributing factor to the alignment issue.
