air bag sensor
Thge air bag light in my 1994 f-150 is flashing a 44 code. It is the right front sensor. The sensor is all split open from corosion. I went to the dealer to buy one and it costs $220. I just want the light to stop flashing. It is anoying me. Is there a way to bypass the sensor or should I check a salvage yard for a cheeper part.

You can check the junkyard for another sensor...you can look into aftermarket sources for a sensor as well.
Any Ford dealer part is going to be very expensive...
You should fix this - otherwise your airbag is not operative.
