A/C Vents
I have a 02 Ranger Edge. Correct me if i'm wrong but when you put the A/C **** on Max A/C, it should be pulling the air from inside the car? I have mine on max a/c and when i pass by say a skunk i can smell it through the A/C. has anybody had this problem. i know the controls are vacumm actuated, but i don't know where that gizmo is

Yes, "Max A/C" is supposed to be recirculating. All other positions draw air from the outside.
You might try to look at the ducts in the footwell to see what (if) changes when you move the control. I've noticed on mine that the fan gets much louder when I turn on Max A/C (and the doors in the system move), does yours?
