460 engine stumbling
Well i made it up there and back. I did have a problem, but im not sure if it had to do with the exhaust leak. I had to pull about a 6000 lbs trailer up a 8 mile streach up hill. about half way up my truck started loosing power. The tranny temp stayed at 160 deg and i kept it in 2nd gear around 3000. once i got to the top i pulled over to see what was wrong. i saw nothing wrong so we kept going and i noticed the tranny was shifting funny. (late or early) and it would lug the engine. as i took off the engine was serging and i had to lightly give it throttle to wind up the engine. I had this problem for the next 20 miles or so. I noticed if i manually shifted the tranny and keep it about 3000 RPM it was fine. But everytime i would have to start pulling up a slight hill i would have to feather the gas to get it going. I did this all the way to camp. I finally made it and when it was time to load up to go home I didnt have a single problem. I was told maybe the exhause leak plugged up my o2 sensor. I would like any thoughts i can get on this. Thanks<O
