howdy y'all
i have an 06' f250 xcab, longbed, 4x4, autotrans powerstorke turbo diesel 6.0. I have about 5500 miles on the truck and in about a month or so ill be taking him (little boy blue) out on his fist long trip, from seattle washington to salt lake city utah. im getting ready to do the first oil change on him and was wondering if anyone else out there has any suguestions on what else i might need to do or should do before leaving on this trip. this is my 3rd ford truck but my first diesel. any help would be great. thanks ahead of time. jorylee

First long drive I took mine on was Edmond Oklahoma to Big Piney Wyoming.............Use the cruise control..........you'll get better fuel mileage...........and be prepared to marvel at how far one of those beasts will go on a tank of diesel...........
I drove mine from Cheyenne Wyomong to Hays Kansas on 3/4 of a tank of diesel fuel.

YA IM EXCITED TO USE THE C/C. MY OTHER TWO FORDS (91 F250 XLT AND 96 F100) DIDNT HAVE IT. IM HOPING THAT ALL GOES WELL. JUST LOOKING FOR ANY ADVICE THAT ANYONE HAS. THANKS GUNNER.

BOB - HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD YOURS AND HAVE YOU NOTICED ANY POSSIBLE ISSUES WITH THIS TYPE OF PLUG. SOME ONE SAID I SHOULD GET THE MAGNETIC PLUG BUT I AM REALLY LEANING TWARDS THIS PLUG??
