So I'm trying to pass smog here in california. Where does the exhaust gas for the egr system come from on the 460?
I have some edelbrock intake, maybe it's missign something? Thanks.

Oh and while you're here; I'm thinking about running my air pump without a bypass or check valve. Am i going to survive? The system will be removed promptly after the test until the bypass and check valves are delivered. I'm on a serious smog deadline unfortunately.
Your EGR valve is at the back of the manifold, behind the carb. Edelbrock makes both an EGR and a non EGR. You may have the non EGR manifold, in which case you will have to change manifolds to get EGR porting and mount.
I ended up rigging up my own. I welded a patc hover the hole in the spacer, then drilled and tapped into that chamber and into the header, then connected the two spots with brake line. Works great.
