Equal-i-zer brand shank question.

I hope someone has the answer to this question. It is the last one I need to answer before I order. With the hitch head at the highest setting with the shank turned down on an Equal-i-zer brand 6inch drop/10inch rise shank, what is the height difference between the top of the ball and the top of the shank? Is the ball higher than the top of the shank or lower and by how much?

I really don't understand that question. What do you need to know that for, or how are you going to be using the hitch. I sell these hitches, but need some better clarification on your concern.

Basically I have two different trucks. One measures 20 inches to the inside top of the hitch. The other measures 23 inches and my trailer is 19 inches. The stand shank (3in drop/5in rise) will work for the 20 inches but is not enough drop for 23 inches. My rig will not ride as level as it should be. Now if I get the the 6in drop I need to make sure I can be set it for both. With the shank turned down to use it as a drop, what is the location of the ball in relation to the top of the shank when set on the top hole. Is the top of the ball above, below, or even with the top of the shank. A 3in drop puts the top of the ball almost perfectly even with the top of the shank on my standard standard. It only gives what the maximum drop/rise is for the shank not what the minimum. If I put the shank in my hitch with it turned down for a drop configuration, and put the ball mount on the highest hole, what would it measure. If the shank in a drop configuration goes from no drop to 6 in drop that would work for both applications. I hope this helps explain it since I need to get my hitch ordered very soon. I really don't want to buy 2 shanks. Thanks for the help.
