Ignition Button????
On my 66 truck, above the starter there is a whole in the dash that is factory. Was this originally the starter button (like for a diesel) like the switch as on/off and then you press start? or was it a windshield washer button to spray fluid... Those are the only 2 things I can think or, Please let me know.

Hi Andy, that would be for the washer. The truck is started by turning the key.

Thanx, I wasn't sure if they used a key w/ only two spots back then or not (on and off) and you had to push the button to start.
Thanx for informing me tho. Anyone know where i could get a button for it then, since mines just a hole in the dash?
