They are 31/11.50-15's and I was wondering if they nwill fit my 1995 E150 conversion van? Door sticker says 235/75-15's from factory. wondering about clearence issues. Thanks.

They are 11.5 inches wide.... That's huge.... You're going to have a taller tire (stock are 29.5) so the speedo will be wrong and the computer won't like them, and they're gonna rub in the front at least. They might fit in the back ok, but they will def. rub in the front. If I was going to use them I'd get rims that set them out from the hubs a little more.

Yeah, I had a feeling they would rub! This conversion van is just so heavy I thought a larger tire would work. I've had good wear/ride with the 235/75-15 Michelin's with just shy of 45k miles and not even a flat! More trouble with the factory alloy wheels (made in Italy no less) leaking! I found a set of 235/75-15 BFG's for $360. Thanks

Here's a tip, use the LT rated tires. They have a much stiffer sidewall than even the XLs, so you'll get a bit of a handling gain. I went from P215/70/15 michelins (what I had lying around) to LT235/75/15 goodyears and I couldn't believe the difference in the way it handled. The non XL rated P tires just can't handle the weight. My dad usually tries to find 6 or 8 ply tires for our '88 E150 club wagon. It's weighs in at just over 5k empty.

Tires

I got you on the LT rated tires! These conversions need all the stability they can get as HEAVY as they are. Thanks!!
