Where can I find the correct harness to hook up my trailer? 99 F250, factory tow package. It appears the pigtail is gone from the truck. All that is there is the empty plug in the harness. There is a class 5 hitch on the truck (2 1/2" drawbar). I also want to use the electric brake controller that is in the truck. The pigtails I see online, and in the stores, have the wrong body connector to fit my truck's square connector. They are all round.
I can find the T type connectors with a 4 wire plug with no problem.
The only thing I have found is a connector that "appears" that it would fit, with a 7 wire plug, but it is listed to fit a 97 F150, if I remember correctly. I didn't want to "but it and try it" and get stuck with something I can't use.
Perhaps this is a Ford dealer item?
