I ordered the switch & will install it this Saturday. For $9.00 it's certainly worth a try.... I'll let you know if that's the problem... Thanks again

I have the same problem, I use it as an anti-theft device. If the thief can't get it out of park then he can't steal my truck. I just turn the key 2 clicks ( to right before the glow plugs light up) and shift into neutral, start the truck then drive away. Maybe someday I'll fix it but it really doesn't bother me at this time.
