I just heard from Bill today and he needs our prayers guys. 3 weeks ago his Mom and Dad were in a horrible wreck in their Motorhome.............His mom was killed in the crash. His life is in a shambles right now, plus He has very limited internet access since he moved to his father-in-laws place. With the trouble with the firetruck, moving, and now the loss of his mom, things are looking bleak right now.
I know Bill has alot of friends here and thought you all should know. If any of you would like to call Him I have his phone # and you can PM me for it. I'm going to call tonight and see if I can help in any way.
Thank you for passing that info on to us all. Please tell him we are praying for him and his Dad.
S**t happens. That's the way life is. You have to roll with it...and the pain. We all have had some. Some more than others. But I know that when I hear something like this, it comes home hard.
Trucks will wait. People will help and understand. Life will...like it or not...go on.
Yes I recieved an email from him too, and my prayers are with him also. As far as the fire truck it's not in anyones way and can sit here until he can get things back together without problem, I am sure if the city gives me an issue I can handle it without too much trouble (although they haven't given any indication they are going to) so that can definatly wait.
I hope his dad is better as i understand he was hurt pretty bad also, which is going to make everything just that much tougher for awhile.
too bad but tommorows another day and the sun will shine through the rain. im pulling for him hope he catches some good luck soon sounds like he has had his share of bad luck lately. hang in there.

Man thats sad, our families prayers go out to his.
Thank you all for thoughts. Hey fabman, it's wmjoe953, but that's ok. Again, thanks for your thoughts. Hopefully some better luck will come my way. As for my dad, he is doing better, but it will be several months before he can walk again, and he will probably never be able to run or enjoy extended hikes again. He required surgery on both of his legs and one foot. His punctured lung has healed, and his two broken ribs are healing. Other than that, things are ok. The OSP did a really crappy job at the time of the wreck. They only took the info from one of the witnesses.
Good to hear from you and thanks for the update wmjoe1953. Hope your dad gets better than the prediction. Say a big FTE Hi from all of us and wish him our best.
