a/c compressor stuck on?
1997 F150 4.6L
I use the air while driving. If I get cold I shut it off, but cannot reach winow crank. So, I turn the switch to panel & floor to just get outside air, but I keep getting cold air. I check and compressor runs no matter what position the switch is in except off. When I turn switch to off, it shut the compressor off. Is my compressor running when it shouldnt be? What do I do?

Consult your owner's manual to learn what the normal functioning of your climate control is.
