Man I have lived in Las Vegas for seven years now. I like, on an occasion to go into a bar after work and have a beer. Here in Lost Wages you cannot do that! Every darn bar has poker screens at the chair. You are supposed to buy a round of quarters (10 bucks) then you get your beer free. But I do not gamble. So I pay ten bucks for one beer. Pisses me off to no end. I am moving back to Idaho. At least there I can buy a 1.75 beer at the counter! NV sucks, with a capitol S. Plus Las Vegas is getting to be east California, and north Mexico!

You don't have to gamble to have a beer (although it is tempting). If you do buy the beer/drink instead of getting comped for gambling it is expensive. Some casinos/bars make you play max credit and start with $10-$20 to be comped. The days of cheap/free food & boose in Las Vegas are long gone.
i'm making it more wierd
a roll of quarters here, you can play black jack for hrs. you'll only make $3.00 if you win, but the beer is only $2.50 a can. yes i said can. we need the $.05 deposit for dog food. just kidding guys and girls.
