Rough Idle
Hello everyone...New here and have a question.. I have a 91 Explorer with a problem.. It idles rough and kind of surges. Found and fixed a couple vac line problem but still doing it. Took it to a local mech that did a smoke test on the system. He found the Throttle body leaking. does this sound right? Reason I ask is we're looking at $400 to replace the thing.

Clean or replace the IAC first. There are many posts on that.

Mine does the same thing, when i put it in park after drving it a while. Be interested in wht works for you!
