Custom Tow Tune Question?
I Need A Little Help, Who Is Running Custom Tow Tunes With A Sct, And What Are Your Results? I Tried One Tow Tune And It Was Ok, I Am Now Running A Dr. Performance Predator Moule With Trany Mods, Egr Off, And Turbo Jake Brake In A Custom Tune. I Am Looking For A Tow Tune To Have Great Power Like The Predator Module And Firm Trans Shifting With Torque Converter Lockup. I Would Like To Remove The Dr. Performance Predator Module And Just Go With Custom Tunes. What Do You All Think? By The Way What Do You All Think About The Dr. Performance Module? I Have An 06 4x4 4 Door Long Bed With Duals, Afe Stage 2, Banks Monster Exhaust Turbo Back, Any Help Would Be Awesome

I have a SCT tow tune from Innovative Diesel. I have had it for a few months, but I finally had a chance to use it last weekend while towing a new car home. The trip was about 700 miles. I.D.'s tune worked seamlessly with the torqueshift tow/haul mode on - I was very pleased. Like you, I also wanted the EGR off, and I.D. did that with all three of my tunes.
Best of all, the truck (SRW SB CC 2005 F-350) pulled a 4,800 pound car on a 1,800 pound trailer and got 14.8 hand-calculated MPG.
Innovative's tow tune is great. Lots of safe power and nice, crisp shifts. Call Eric or Ted and they'll take care of you.

How can I say this without stepping on toes........we carry Dr. Performance, there are better options for a daily driver.
All of our custom tunes are Innovative Diesel tunes...I run an Xcal2 from them. I love it. The engine braking in tow mode is an absolute must have In my opinion.
