Installed shift kit, now only have reverse.

Well like it says, put a B&M shift improver kit in a 1971 C4 transmission got it back together and now all I have is reverse, no 1,2,or Drive. I've double checked the paperwork, took the vavle body out, re-did it like the instruction sheet and still no go. Shift linkage is set up right, tried two modulator's and checked band adjustment. Bands are new by the way. So Im at a loss here and help would be great

Do you have the manual valve connected in the proper way?

Yep, checked it everytime I put the valve body back in.

Did you compare the separater plate gasket to the old one?

All the holes in the new plate and stock plate lined up, except I had to drill one hole in the new plate to corrospond with another hole in the stock plate. Also said not to use a gasket with the new (B&M) plate.

B&M are famous for that.

Remove the springs etc you installed from the B&M kit.
Place them in the box.
Place the box behind your rear wheel.
Back over it.

Get a Transgo kit.
