No problem frank. Post up what you have and don't worry about how it looks. Everyone likes to see build-ups. I think the older truck build-ups are the best as it is not like you can hop down to the local auto parts store to get what you want. Good luck with the restorations and post plenty of pictures.

Welcome Tractor Boy!!!

Tractor Boy is the Maryland Chapter Leader and is joining our chapter to see what we are up to!!! Great to have you around. Hopefully as our chapters grow we can have a Mid-Atlantic Regional chapters G2G. That would be so cool!!! Good luck with your chapter and hope to see you in the NY Chapter forum from time to time.

Welcome kuch73!!!

kuch73 stated the reason for joining was, "Live and drive Fords' in NY!" I guess that about says it all other than the vehicle of choice to do the driving is a 2000 Ranger.

Welcome to the NY Chapter and feel free to post up things of interest. We look forward to having you around.

Hey Bill good to hear from you!!! I can't speak for anyone else, but I am set. Got the SD ready and the plow. I think the only thing I have left to do outside is put my mower away for the season. How about you? Are you ready??

Ronin

Outside painting done, re-caulked windows and doors and closed the pool... all I have to do is get my summer funiture stored away and winterize the mower and pressure washer...

ohhhh and get another coat of wax on the Excursion to protect a bit from road salt!!

Yeah, don't forget that!!! We did all the stuff you listed (minus the pool, don't have one so we just use a friend's ) last weekend so it was busy. Ran out of time so have to do the mower this weekend if I can fit it between all the family events. Watch out for those high winds we are suppose to get!!

Incredibly, I was somewhat caught-up Saturday with all those "it's almost winter" chores only to find the big tarp, that I used to cover the summer funiture, was across the yard and wrapped over a fence on Sunday morning.. lol those winds were something else.. guess it's a "do -over". lol

I'm getting ready for winter, if I ever get the kid's house ready to move in to, by loading up and heading down to Virginia. Warmer weather and lower taxes.

Yes I am hijacking my own thread!!

Bill - yeah I had a minor "do over" in that my trash cans got blown across the yard with the wind. That was about it so I was happy. Did you have any damage from the winds?

So George when do you head down to VA??

LOL!!! I figured I am entitled to hijack my own threads. But as I told you before, if you get in trouble in one of the other chapters I don't know anything about it!!!

I meant to tell you that the map idea was great.. I added myself recently.. Its a great way to see which members are nearby... nice addition to the NY chapter!

Ronin
I had to laugh a bit about your garbage cans.... the truth is, after the last big wind storm I "lost" a couple of my plastic garbage cans.. by the time my son was done finding them halfway down the road.. I discovered that I had 2 extra that are identical to mine.. apparently my son has touble counting.. no one has claimed them 6 months later...

lol I wonder which neighbor thinks I am a thief!
