Warn or Superwinch
If one were buying the standard bottom of the line hubs from either of the above manufacturer, which would you choose? Theyre close in price so an I've never used either. Just broke the stock one on my 82 3/4

dude, i just bought warn PREMIUM hubs, and htey are so much bigger than my super winches, only problem is, we cant get the snap ring in, but the instructions say i might not be able to get the "Retaining" ring in, is that also called a snap ring??? if so i'll just put them in, i bought them at 4wheel parts in tampa for 100 bux, their nice as ****, just wish they were on my truck.

If you have the TTB front with the 1/2 ton style hubs the stock ford pieces are alot stronger than anything the aftermarket makes. I broke a ton of warn premium 1/2 ton hubs before putting stockers on as a trail repair and they never broke again. Then it was the axleshafts turn to give out. If you have the dana 50 TTB, aftermarket is about the same as stock stuff. Hard to break a 50/60 hub though.

ok i have a straight axle (from a 78) but it is still a 44. I bought a Superwinch off a buddy of mine it looks a heck of a lot sturdier than the stock one i had(and broke). Should it perform as good as it looks?
