I've searched for the post but I can't find it. A few weeks ago someone had listed a website of a fellow that will repair rusted vin plates. Could you please post it again? Thanks, John

The guy you want to speak with is Carl. He just did one up for me about a month ago. He charged me $85 total. I sent him all the info and had the tag in hand in less than a week! Mid-Fifty wanted $100 plus shipping and said it would take 10-12 weeks as there was only one place back east that could do it,.......okaaaay, I could sense the BS over the phone... Sacramento Vintage was $75 plus shipping and would take 2-3 weeks. I would deffinately use the same place, datatags.com, again.

I never used these guys, I just found their site while surfing the net. I have given their site address out on a few different sites. It's good to hear good feedback about a business, I need to get new tags for my trucks and it's good to hear, thanks.

xfordman, you need the rating plate tag. Call him and if he doesn't answer, leave a message and he will get back to you. Tell him what tag you are missing and he will tell you what information he needs to make a new one. He just made up one of these for me for my '53.
