rear gas tank problems

rear gas tank problems
Hi all, i have recently bought a 1994 F150 4x4 with dual tanks. the first time I filled up I noticed that i could smell gas fumes from around the rear tank. Looked under the truck and no leak. I ran the gas to almost empty and used the front. Well today I filled the front and put another $20.00 worth in the rear again and noticed that the gas seems to be coming out of the neck and filler cap while driving, thus causing the gas smell (and leaking on the side of truck). Any suggestions why this is happening and can it be fixed. Thanks
