bearings

Can anyone tell me if this happens to be a factory undersized bearing? I started putting in my new clevette std size and have about a 20 thousandths difference. Not sure if it's the bearings or my cheap caliper.
Rod Bearing info:

C8VE-6211-A-B

Above the ford oval is 3 73

Thanks!

Are you installing the bearings in the rod, torquing it and measuring the bore? Then measuring the crankshaft diameter and subtracting to get bearing clearence?

I picked up a better caliper today, turns out my old one must be junk. Things are looking ALOT better. Looks like it should be in specs, just need to find them to double check.
