Turbo Timer For 7.3L PSD

I have been doing a little bit of research and wanted to see what other peoples ideas were on Turbo Timers. From what I know these devices allow the engine to continue to run @ idle after the key has been turned off and removed, with the purpose of this being to allow the bearings in the turbo to cool off before the engine shuts down. By doing this it will allow the bearings to last longer in the turbo and therefore allow the engine to last longer. I personally think that it is a good idea, and wanted to see if other people out there are using them and if they are which ones they have had sucess with. Or if there was some simple "at home" way of making this type of modification. Any information would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

I've heard good things about Blitz (http://www.blitz-performance.com/) turbo timers. I personally use the one that's a feature of my Viper 791xv security system. Most advanced security systems come standard with turbo timers these days.

My remote starter came with a turbo timer, but its a timer. I would much rather have one that went off EGT temps.
