My newest resto project is a 1965 f250 longbed styleside 352 4spd 2wd. Nothing to look at cause it seems to have been a work truck at one point, the front half of the truck is in fair to excellent shape (front edges of the fenders not, but typical) NO RUST. Probem #1 the bed is crap, sides flop in the breeze , the left side is't so bad but the right is beat to crap. Both tiallight panels/corners are hammered (bad). Tailgate is missing. Every seam/joint and some steel are cracked, someone even put bracing to keep the right side from falling down. Are there any replacement pieces available for me?? Is my only choice to find a donor (fat chance) or a lot of hammering and welding?
I can do most of the body work bur the taillight panels/corners have me scared.
The 66 to 77 bronco side panels will work for repair of the wheel well.
the 66 to 77 bronco end caps will work with some mods for the tail light sections
Each is made aftermarket.
A NOS source is Coopers Express 513-553-2528 ask for Dave. He usually had some end caps in stock and may have complete bedsides.
Come across ebay on occasion. Regret not traveling few hundred miles round trip for long bed in great condition. Found buyer can request an email if item comes up within designated area.
