I'm from central WI! There are a few other members from around our state, but I can't recall their usernames. I know one of them is a moderator. Now that you've asked this question, I'm kinda curious to know myself!
First off, welcome to FTE You'll enjoy using this site. As far as I know, there are quite a few users from WI on this site. I'm in the northwestern part of the state. And, I probably like Fords as much as anyone here
Actually, if what I recently heard is true, I'm glad I am not from Wisconsin. I'm told the state wants to put meters on peoples wells and charge them for the well water they use, claiming that the water belongs to the state. I heard this from a fellow that lives on the outskirts of Superior, WI. Is it true?

I haven't heard about the well issue on the statewide level, but in Plover (just south of Stevens Point) a few years ago the town insisted on meters for private wells. IIRC, people had X amount of time to install these meters after which they would be fined $100 a day until they complied.
