88 ranger headlight switch problem
My old headlight switch would not light the dash/parking lights on the first detent but would 1/2 way to the second detent with the headlights.
Ok went to autozone got a new one it would not light the dash/parking at the first detent either but would only light them 1/2 way to the 2nd detent but not with the headlights at all.
Went back for 2nd switch, it acts the same as the old part. all lights work just not in the right place on the switch. It's a very small spot on the pull which does not hold well on bumpy roads.
Any one have any ideas? did a search but did not find a problem such as this.
