I just called about getting a job. I think I have a pretty good chance go get it, so I want to find out a few things that would really help me out.
One thing I would like to know about is these newer navigational system. My job will have me driving around alot to places I had never been, and the faster I can get there and to the next job, the more money I can get. What are some good choices for these navigation systems? I know there's the Garmin and Magellan, but I don't really know anything about them. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Edit: Also, Some areas are in the middle of nowhere. Do these things ever not have the maps? I don't know exactly how they work, so???
I've got a Garmin Quest. It is a portable unit, so you can move it from car to car. The Quest 2 comes with the entire US detail database loaded. Of course, every couple of years you'll probably want to get new maps. If you don't need to move it from car to car, the Garmin Streetpilot is a good choice as well.
