Cool GEEZ! mod overload....

holy cow, my head hurts from reading fuel mod stuff all day. I know I went through at least 2 20-30 page long discussions on pre- pump- filter- pump- post- pump- heater- pump- filter- spearchucker- mods. There was a particularly arduous and confusing 31 page long 'blue cps' thread that left me even more confused than I was when I woke up this morning (aside from knowing I need a 10mm ratchet and 2 extra elbows to get past my dual alternator). I'm so mixed up now I can't remember my own phone #. But I can quote you an airmotive regulator #, Dahl filter part #'s, the size lines going to a quick disconect in the tank I've never seen, and how 'strokin's truck idles @ 20psi of fuel pressure.

Are there any areas of this truck that I DON'T need to modify? I thought my jeep and snowmachine were bad... I feel like I should rebuild my whole truck before I drive to work tommorow!

Oh well, I would like to point out that this is about the most information packed forum I've browsed before, hopefully my truck will be sporting an impressive list of homegrown mods in the near future..

I need a drink!
Cheers!

anchortown, I've done a few trips to fairbanks though. Spent fire season up there supporting the blm 2 years ago (was REAL smokey then), several 4-wheeling trips with friends (around fort knox creek, 55 mile hill, Jenny M mud bog... err, I mean trail). A bit chilly there for me in the winters though.

OK, I was thinking about it...

we need a 'summary', 'blog' or 'faq' at the top of any post over 4 pages. It could detail strong points for and against and concrete findings. Nothing huge, maybe just a couple lines that had page or reply #'s that were significant.

sigh... another extra feature that surely noone wants to take care of. I'll continue reading, at least we do have a fairly comprehensive FAQ and mod list.
