Solid motor/trans mounts?
I was wondering if anyone here has used solid motor and/or transmission mounts in any vehicle that was street driven. If so, how was the feel from the drivers seat?? Did it vibrate/shake/ hum or ??? Any other issues that showed up?

I had a ride in a '66 with welded brackets for the 429 and it was very uncomfortable. I could feel every little suzz whine zzz zing brrzzzizzgr that it made, at all different RPMs. Sounded nice while idling or revving in the driveway, but it wasn't a very pleasant ride.
