oil pressure

Ok here is the scoop.
I have a 352 that my father rebuilt some 25 plus years ago. It has 56,000 miles on it. The first 2000 miles were on pump gas the next 48,000 mile were on propane. While my father was in his final days he asked me to get it running on gas before he passed,(which he did get to here it run on gas before he passed). I have been running on gas for the past 6,000 miles and have noticed some changes in oil pressure. It has gone from about 30psi to 45 psi. I have been using the same oil as my father used and the same filter. FL1A Motorcraft filter with Castrol 10-40 oil. I have also been changing oil on a regular 2,500 mile like my father taught me. I pulled the valve covers and the timing chain cover at 50,000 miles and everything looked new no buid up.
Now I know that propane is a very clean burning fuel and has little to no deposits, Do ou think that maybe the increase in oil pressure is due to build up in the engine from pump gas?

The engine runs great and makes no abnormal noise like lifter tapping.

It was nice chaging oil when it stil looked new while the truck was on propane.

I'm going to take a guess here, but I think the oil pressure sender value has changed. This can be due to taking a light hit from some source, or it could be failing. Best bet would be to screw in a mechanical gauge into the sender hole and see what it reads. There is no reason that the type of fuel should cause any difference in the oil pressure. In any case, it doesn't sound like you have much to worry about there.
