I just bought a 79 f250 4x4 I was told it needed the front brake line put on(Pass side) . The guy gave me a brand new line which he had started to bend. I got it to fit on the caliper fine but when I crossed under the oil pan and ran it to the box on drivers side frame I noticed the fitting does not fit in the box. After looking at both ends I noticed the fitting are the same on both end So Im guessing either A. One fitting is suppose to be bigger then the other and the guy just put the wrong fitting on one end. Or B. I poss ran the line to to wrong spot. Also Autozone only carries pre fab brake lines with the same size fitting on each end And no fittings
So my questions are
Are there 2 size fittings?
Where did the factory run? Because I ran my under the oil pan is that correct?
If there are 2 different size fittings anyone know the sizes and or have a parts numbers?
Till what Year did the brake lines run like this? Could I possibly find one on a 80's 90's truck at a junk yard
Anyone have a pictures diagrams of the brake setup My Chilton Manual sux

When I bought my pass. side caliper hose from autozone it was about 3foot of metal line connected to rubber hose for the caliper.I guess a 78 f150 4wd is different from a f250.And it only cost me $15.00
