Removing sump while engine in frame

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the sump from a 351C in a 75 2wd F350 while the engine is still in the frame? Ive got one cylinder with broken rings and want to do the job in the frame if possible.

It's possible to do it on any engine if the engine/transmission is lifted enough and all the other pertinent things are taken are of first..... so you don't break anything.

I would get a hoist and pull the engine... It will make everything a whole lot easier. You need to lift the engine up anyway, which means the exhaust and the engine mounts will be unbolted already. A few more bolts and the transmission is off, and pull the rad and plug oil cooler lines, disconnect wiring harness. A lot easier to do on these old trucks than new cars!
