Disc conversion on 72 again!!
I asked the question on what was needed to convert my 72 F-100 to disc brakes awhile back and can't remember interchangable years. What I have is a 72 F-100 and I just bought a 77 F-150. Will the "I" beams w/ the disc from the 77 simply interchange with the 72? Will the power booster(77) bolt to existing firewall holes(72)? Also will the power steering box and linkage(77) bolt on or need to be modified to fit the 72? Please e-mail me with any info you guys might have! Thanks in advance, if this works out I'll have alot of 77 parts for sale cheap!!!

BJ 65 - 79 are all pretty much interchangeable. Yes you parts will work.

Disc conversion on 72 again!!
I used the power steering box off of a '75 on my '72. Direct bolt in. I did the same front end swap on my '72 F 100 you're talking about. My parts truck was a '73 F250, and since you're going to have it all apart it would be the ideal time to change your radius arm bushings.
