well.......after looking all over the place to try and find some info. on my 68' ford ranger camper special.i was hoping that some of you out there, might be able to help me get some info about my new truck. hp??,posi-trac??,etc...

You've got a FE bigblock engine with about 200 HP from the factory. The transmission is a C6. Probably don't have positraction rear end, but hammer it from a dead stop and see if both tires spin or if just the right one does. I can't think of anything else that is not readily apparent or fairly obvious.

To maybe eliminate some guesswork here, just get the codes stamped into your door plate and post them here. At least one of us will be able to help out. Sounds like a good find.
